-Many Expat wannabes and gonnabees, dead set on moving to Latin America, are a bit preoccupied about their healthcare needs. They want to be sure they can get first-world treatments, facilities and medical personnel, etc., etc.
Well, today we'll hear details about a new Expat who's been in Salvador for a year and still barely knows 30 words of Spanish. He recently had to spend 12 hours in a private Latin Hospital emergency ward and undergo a battery of tests. Yes, it happened just last week, and he did have a local Latin medical insurance policy.
